I do not know how many of you knew about the remastering of the six Star Wars movies in 3D, but here's a story that this time gives us even some official launch dates.Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox announced today that the official launch of the first episode of "Star Wars: Episode I: Phantom Menace" remastered in 3D is ... 10 February 2012.
Those of us who hoped to see "Empire Strikes Back" on the big screen in 3D, will have to wait longer, until around 2016, and it seems that it will take a while for the other films from the saga to be remastered and converted because they will do only one per year.
Hearing all this, you can not help wondering why is taking so long? and if we will ever get to see the entire saga remastered and converted to 3D format.
Until then you will be pleased with the future launch of the six films on Blu-ray, this year in September 27.
