Lately, Christopher Nolan is the most wanted director in Hollywood.
"We want Nolan as a director" is the phrase repeated by all producers.
And not just because the last movie, "Inception" but because long career as director, writer, editor, producer and even adviser in terms of movies with super heroes.
Christopher Nolan was born in London in 1970.
She spent his childhood in London and Chicago.
He spent his childhood being in motion between Britain and the United States.
His accent is mostly English, but occasionally vary in an American accent.
Yet it is comfortable for Nolan, this makes him possesse both knowledge about both cultures.
He began making films at age 7, using his father 8-mm camera, adding figures with superheroes to the pictures.Then he started to make films with real people, making the surreal short film with 8 mm camera "Tarantella" wich was presented on "PBS Image Union" in 1989.

Before university, in the 90's Nolan with photojournalist Dan Eldon has been involved in charitable projects in Somalia, that until Eldon was killed in '93.
Nolan studied literature at University College of London and in parallel he devoted his spare time filming with a 16 mm camera at the film club of university.
More short films were presented at the University Cabridge Film Festival, including "'Lacerny'" in 1996, and a 3-minute short film entitled "Dodlebug.
As a student Nolan created a local recognition, as a filmmaker, and as a young man with different views, with a vast imagination, which brought a certain fame in certain social circles closely associated with the film industry.

With his wife, Emma Thomas, who has always been as a shadow to director, Nolan has created a family with three children who live in Los Angeles.
Emma is the producer of films written and directed by her husband: Dodlebug (1997), Memento (2000), Following (1998) and Batman Begins (2005).
Although it has only 39 years, Christopher Nolan has already made several successful films including Memento is (2000), Insomnia (2002), Batman Begins (2005), The Prestige (2006) and The Dark Knight (2008) and proves himself thro a vast imagination and exemplary work.

It seems that Nolan's success comes from his method of making twisted and suspenseful scripts that makes the viewer wonder, every minute of the film, which will be the logical chain of actions is presented.
Beyond that, Christopher manages to delight audiences with his unique shooting style wich is already a trademark of all his productions.
Perhaps the fact that he was able to bring in attention of all a franchise that has long been forgotten "Batman", has made him the most wanted director in the industry and especially for films with fantastic themes and super heroes.
His scenarios are so twisted and complex that it makes him a perfect candidate for all future productions in the field, making him a busy man and so well integrated into this industry that brings millions of dollars.

Christopher Nolan believes that Stanley Kubrick and Ridley Scott are the two great directors who have influenced all of his scripts in his previous films.
Did you know that in 1999, at the Hong Kong Film Festival where the film Following (1998) was presented, Nolan asked the audience to donate money for his next project Memento (2000)? He gathered enough funds for making Memento a wonderful movie.
Nolan is founder of the company Film Syncopy and has dual citizenship, English and American.
He has two brothers: one smaller, Jonathan, often collaborating with him at writing movie scripts, and a bigger one, Matthew, who was arrested in 2009 for murder.

To all of above mentioned add that the last film, "Inception" won four Oscars and was nominated for eight categories, and at the Golden Globe Nolan had 4 nominations, we are gonna use the most common phrase used now in all Hollywood studios with a film project with super heroes: "WE WANT NOLAN".
